Stephen Tgibedes is a seasoned engineer with a wide array of experiences to offer. Stephen spent six years working for one of the largest outsourcers in the world developing his troubleshooting skills and managing customer interaction support efforts. Stephen brings with him a thorough understanding of what it takes to get things done in enterprise environments and the ability to facilitate those efforts.
While working with Stalwart at a Fortune 50 sized International company, Stephen showed a tremendous aptitude in translating his experience into practical application. When his circumstances changed, we recruited him to spearhead our RSA enVision consulting team.
Recent engagements have revolved around using the SIEM tool to help companies achieve their PCI, SOX and internal security initiatives. Stephen’s typical projects include:
- PCI: Analyzing current business processes to identify PCI devices, developing new processes to ensure compliance regulations are met, and helping clients develop automation around reporting and alerting.
- SOX: Analyzing current business processes to identify SOX devices, develop new processes to ensure compliance regulations are met, and help clients develop automation around reporting and alerting.
- SIEM Tool Optimization: Working with clients to help them better understand the capabilities of event management, which allows them to better secure their environment through correlating logged events, and identifying additional ways to protect their business.
- Deployment and Training: Lead SEIM configurations up through multiple appliance and multiple site distributed systems. Stephen has provides training in alert configuration, reporting, and administration of the SIEM application.
Stephen graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a BS in Management Information Systems and Business Administration.
